The On Hold report displays Charges that are On Hold. This is an interactive report; charges may be approved or deleted. Charges are placed On Hold per Practice settings. Charges that are created by NPs/PAs may be set up to go On Hold pending review by the Primary Physician. Administrators may approve Charges for Physicians.
On Hold Report
1. From the Patients section, hover over Reports and click On Hold.
2. If you wish to manage Charges on hold for a specific Provider, use the PROVIDER drop-down menu to select a Provider and the SORT BY drop-down menu to sort the results by Patient, Location, or Rounder. You may also leave it set to All. When the Provider is selected, click RUN REPORT.
3. Results will appear on the left side of the screen. To view the Charges for a Patient, click on their name and the Charges will appear on the right side of the screen.
4. You have the option to approve/decline Charges individually. To approve a single Charge, click ASSIGN TO ME AND APPROVE. To remove a Charge, click DECLINE.
5. To approve or decline all Charges for a Patient, scroll to the bottom of the Charges and click ASSIGN TO ME AND APPROVE ALL or DECLINE ALL.
