The ChargeChecker is an interactive report that displays Patients for whom no Charges have been captured during specific dates of their admission. ChargeChecker allows you to message a User directly to inquire about Charges.  


Run ChargeChecker

1. From the Billing section, hover over Reports and click ChargeChecker.

  

2. Set the Search Criteria and click RUN REPORT.

 

· Use the CENSUS drop-down menu to select a specific Census.

· Use the PRIMARY BILLER drop-down menu to select a specific Primary Biller.

 

3. Results will display in the right-side column

  

4. To print or download the report, click PRINT/DOWNLOAD.

 

5. Click PRINT or DOWNLOAD in the pop-up, as appropriate. Downloaded reports will export to an Excel CSV file. Printed reports will open in a separate tab for printing. 


Manage ChargeChecker

1. To manage a listing, click anywhere on the row.

2. A pop-up will appear.

 

· OPTION 1: CLEAR FROM CHARGE CHECKER: This Option removes the listing.

· OPTION 2: GO TO THIS PATIENT’S CHART: This takes you to the Patient’s chart so that you can review the Patient information.

· OPTION 3: MESSAGE: This allows you to message a User about the Patient. See “Message from ChargeChecker” below for more details. 


Message from ChargeChecker

1. You can send a Secure Message to a User to alert them of missing Charges. Once you’ve clicked the listing for the Patient you wish to message about, select the name of the User you wish to message from the drop-down menu in Option 3 and click MESSAGE.


2. The following Secure Message will be sent to the User.
