There are several options available to print the Census. All print-outs are created in PDF format. 

1. Navigate to the Print view by clicking Print.


2. Select the Census(es) you wish to print by clicking on them. A checkmark will appear next to selected censuses. If you wish to select all, click SELECT ALL. 


3. Select the Provider(s) you wish to print by clicking on them. A checkmark will appear next to selected Providers. If you wish to select all, click SELECT ALL.


4. Sort and filter the Print Out, if appropriate, by clicking on the button to the left of the selection you wish to make.

 

· SORT: You may sort by Location, Patient, Rounder, Midlevel, Primary, or Resident.

· INCLUDE DISCHARGED PATIENTS: Uncheck this box if you do not want discharged Patients to appear on the print-out. Note: discharged Patients will have a “D/C” indicator on the print-out.

· FLAG FILTER: If you select Flag(s) from this list, only Patients with that/those Flag(s) will be displayed on the Print Out. 


5. Choose the Print Format you wish to use by clicking on it. NOTE: Some elements that are included on the Print Out may not be enabled by your Practice.


Standard Print Formats Include:

          · DETAILED: Patient Name, Patient Census, Patient DOB, Patient MRN, Patient Status (e.g. Active or Discharged), Patient Location (room number), Provider(s) Name(s), Flag(s), and History field.

          · BASIC: Patient Name, Patient Census, Patient DOB, Patient Location (room number), Rounder Name, and Flag(s).

          · LIST: Patient Name, Patient Census, Patient Location (room number), Rounder 

Other Formats Include:

         · THE HANDOFF: Patient Name, Patient Census, Patient DOB, History Field, To-Do Field, Patient Location, Flag(s), Rounder(s), Midlevel, Date of Admission, Date of Surgery/Procedure, and Length of Stay (LOS).

          · THE RESIDENT LIFEVEST: Patient Name, Patient Census, Patient DOB, Patient MRN, Patient Location (room number), Flag(s), History Field, Date/Time of last History Field update, Contingency Plan field, and Date/Time of last Contingency Plan field update. 

         · THE KITCHEN SINK: Patient Name, Patient Census, Patient DOB, Patient MRN, Patient Gender, Mother’s Name, Patient Location (room number), Rounder(s), Midlevel, Flag(s), Referring Provider, Code Status, Date of Admission, Date of Surgery, Length of Stay (LOS), History Field, Date/Time of last History Field update, To-Do List field, Date/Time of last To-Do List Field update, Miscellaneous field, and Date/Time of last Miscellaneous Field update.

        · THE SURGICAL ASSISTANT: Patient Name, Patient Census, Primary Rounder, Patient DOB, Patient MRN, Patient Location, Flag(s), History Field, and To-Do List Field.

 

When you have selected the Print Format, a pop-up box will appear. Click PRINT. A preview of the print out will appear in a separate tab.
