1. Navigate to the SuperBill View by clicking on “SuperBill”.


2. If you need to capture a Charge from another Census, use the drop-down menu to change the Census location.


3. Click the name of the Patient you wish to add Discharge instructions for, then click the DISCHARGE tab.


4. Add the appropriate Discharge instructions.

            · Follow Up: Indicate who the Patient should follow up with.

·           .Time Frame: Indicate the appropriate time frame for follow up.

    · Comments: Add any Patient specific comments. 


5. Select any appropriate Metrics. Metrics are custom configured by your Practice and may contain any kind of information. They are frequently used to indicate outpatient testing needs prior to follow up and identify high risk patients but may consist of any information your Practice deems appropriate. To select a Metric, click the check box to the left of it. 

6. Once instructions and Metrics are added, click the checkbox to the left of the “D” Flag, located in the DC Orders section (just below the discharge instructions). This important step allows Schedulers to run a report and plan for appropriate outpatient follow up.
