Setting appropriate User profiles and Security settings allows Users to access the appropriate areas of your Practice’s site while restricting them from areas they shouldn’t access. 

NOTE: Users with lower security levels will not be able to see features that Users with higher security levels can. For example, a User with a security level 2 will not even see the option to access the Administration section. 

User Profiles

Physician

· Users in these Profiles will be placed on appropriate drop-down menus throughout the site

· Charges are sent to the Billing area immediately

· A list of Midlevels will be visible in the appropriate Charge areas so they can indicate the Midlevel they were working with at the time.

· MUST also be assigned a Security Level of at least 3

· MUST have an associated License (see section 2)

Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant

· Users in these Profiles will be placed on appropriate drop-down menus throughout the site

· Charges may process just as Physician charges do OR may be placed On Hold for the rounding Physician to approve.

· A list of Physicians will be visible in the appropriate Charge areas so they can indicate the physician they were working under at the time, if applicable.

· MUST also be assigned a Security Level of at least 3

· MUST have an associated License (see section 2)

Administrator, Billing, Check In, Check Out, Diagnostics, Front Office, Medical Assistant, Medical Records, Nurse, Registration, Resident, Office Scheduling, Procedure Scheduling

· Users in these Profiles will be placed on appropriate Secure Messaging menus throughout the site (example: messaging functions in the Add Patient screen)

· Access to different areas in HybridChart is determined by Security Level


Licensing

Any Provider in HybridChart (including: Physicians, CRNAs, PA’s, and NP’s) must have an associated License with their account. To add a new Provider user account, the number of designated licenses must increase to accommodate the new Provider.

Security Levels

Level 1: Low

· Basic access to Patient Section.

· Able to manage Census, including Edits, Flags.

· Able to Use QuickEdit and SnapShot.

· Able to Add New Patient and Search HybridChart.

· Access to Messaging Section.

· No Access to Billing and Data-Mining.

· No ability to view any billing modules.

 

Level 2: Medium

All Level 1 permissions, AND:

· Access to Billing Section and Data-Mining Section.

· No ability to view any Billing modules.

 

Level 3: High

All Level 2 permissions, AND:

· This enables charging privileges and grants permission to the access the Practice QuickList on the ‘Getting Started with HybridChart’ screen when user logs in for the first time.

· Access to all areas that allow actual charge capture

· No access to Administration Section

 

Level 4: Administrator

· Access to all areas including Administration Section
