Use the Providers setup page to link Providers to their counterpart accounts in your Practice’s outpatient EHR/EPM. See HOW-TO GUIDE – Administration – EHR Setup – Tickets for more information.
Manage Providers
1. From the Administration Section, hover over the EHR Setup View and click Providers.
2. Existing Providers will appear on the right side of the screen.
1. PROVIDER NAME: The Provider’s name as entered in the Users section. NOTE: Providers will not appear on the EHR Setup Providers page until their User account is created.
2. FORMATTED NAME: This is an optional field. Certain EHR/EPMs (example: Intergy) require a formatted name for Charges to transfer from HybridChart to the EHR. You will find the formatted name requirements in your Practice’s EHR/EPM.
3. EHR CODE: This is the ID number assigned to the Provider in the outpatient EHR/EPM. Sometimes this is an ID number assigned by the EHR/EPM, and sometimes it is the Provider’s NPI. Check with your EHR/EPM to confirm which ID number belongs here.
3. To edit/add the formatted name, hover over the formatted name and click EDIT.
Type
the updated name into the box and click SAVE.
4. To edit the EHR Code, hover over the code and click EDIT.
Type the updated code into the box and click SAVE.
